Dr. Gary Edelson

Dr. Gary Edelson, a distinguished general practitioner, from Holmdel, New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, before pursuing veterinary medicine at St. George’s University in Grenada. Dr. Edelson completed his clinical year in 2008 at the University of Florida's School of Veterinary Medicine, where his dedication to emergency medicine earned him recognition from the Pfizer Corporation.

With a particular focus on dentistry, diabetes, dermatology, and ophthalmology, Dr. Edelson has contributed extensively to the field through numerous articles on canine and feline diabetes. He has practiced general medicine alongside a board-certified veterinary dentist and a boarded canine/feline practitioner, enhancing his expertise and providing top-tier care.

Dr. Edelson is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association and the veterinary medical associations of Florida, Palm Beach, and Broward County. He is a USDA accredicted veterinarian. 

At home, Dr. Edelson enjoys a vibrant family life with his wife, Liz and their three children. They share their home with two beloved pets: Bowser, Hulk, and Oliver, a Sphynx cat. In his leisure time, Dr. Edelson enjoys golf, magic, and scuba diving.

Dr. Edelson thrives on the daily surprises and challenges of his profession, whether an emergent case, quality of life, or enjoying a new kitten/puppy visit.  He prioritizes compassionate care, educating clients and breeders, addressing medical issues, and reconnecting with familiar faces. His passion for veterinary medicine shines through in every interaction, and he looks forward to meeting you and your companion soon.

Dr. Keith Gilchrist

Dr. Keith Gilchrist, a South Florida native, pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then advanced to The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbus, OH, where he specialized in the Spectrum of Care approach. This method integrates evidence-based medicine with the emotional, physical, and financial resources of pet families, offering a range of options without judgment. In recognition of his dedication, Dr. Gilchrist received the 2022 Nationwide Spectrum of Care Award from Nationwide Pet Insurance.

Dr. Gilchrist's professional interests encompass general surgery, internal medicine, and clinical nutrition. He prioritizes face-to-face communication and customizes treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family. While his primary focus is on cats and dogs, he also has a keen interest in treating small mammals such as ferrets and rabbits.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Gilchrist enjoys golfing, working out at the gym, and spending quality time with family and friends. He is an avid college football fan who relishes a good tailgate. His own furry family includes a cat named Natty and a lively boxer dog named Sami.
